An otoplasty, or ear pinning, was performed in 2003 in our office surgical suite in an hour and a half. His left earlobe was also slightly reduced in size to match the opposite earlobe. He is no longer self-conscious about his ears and now rarely thinks about them, in contrast to his pre-operative concerns.
